Ruth & Stephen Smith offer a warm welcome to guests staying at Crossley Side Farm. Homemade refreshments are served on guest’s arrival. We are situated in Little Fryupdale, which is in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and is within easy reach of the coast. It is an ideal base for a peaceful relaxing break.
The farmhouse dates back to 1695 and many original features are still in place. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard. Both rooms are en-suite and we have a separate lounge/dining room for guests own use. The bedrooms have large windows which have lovely views across the dale. Tea/coffee making facilities are available in both rooms.
Breakfasts served at Crossley Side are made using fresh local ingredients and homemade preserves where possible.
Crossley Side is a working family run farm, home to the ‘Frigahop’ dairy herd of pedigree Holstein Friesians and followers.
