Introduction
Limited time, and the threat of thunderstorms made my usual Tuesday ride a shorter, and more urban ride than normal
Conditions
Cyclepaths and reasonably quiet roads
Hazards and warnings
Broken glass is a problem around the cycle way through Tang Hall.
Detailed description
The route is pretty obvious as it follows marked cycle routes around York.
Narrative
My usual ride out from town wasn't on the card, as the thought of being caught out in a thunderstorm didn't appeal. So, I buzzed around a few local cycle paths to make a up route.
The riverside section is nice (beware some of this can flood), but dog walkers and dogs on long leeds are a hazard to watch out for.
It's worth noting that this route includes one of the few decent hll climbs in York by the university, so if you fancy pushing yourself this is a good place to do it.
