Introduction
A walk along the beach to Whitby to Sandsend and back.

Sand and gravel beach, and roads and well surfaced paths
Hazards and warnings
The beach is only passable at low tide.
Detailed description
Walk along the beach to Sandsend, and head back along to road, and the the clifftop path once past the golf course.
Narrative
A windy, but fairly warm bankholiday and a chance to get out on the beach in Whitby. This would be a great place to take a dog, although it's worth noting that dogs are restricted on the part of the beach nearest to the west pier in summer (you could avoid this bit easily).
