Introduction
A lovely scenic drive over the Peak Districts eastern edge

Hazards and warnings
Road is narrow, with farm traffic, very steep hills and bends, and the surface is somewhat battered. The elevation means snow, fog and winds can be a problem
Narrative
A lovely drive in any season. The last remains of the snow, and a low sun made this pretty but difficult driving. It would be foolish to attempt this if there had be lots of recent snow.
The nature of the road would make this unsuitable for anybody wanting to drive this at speed. Instead, take your time, and enjoy the dramatic scenary on all sides.
