Narrative
Parking at the Honister Slate Mine we took the path up to the dismantled tramway. From they we followed the tramway to Drum House where er turn left across Fleetwith. Following the path we had great views of Great Gable, Hay Stacks and Crummock Water. On leaving the summit of Brandreth we followed the ridge plateau to the summit of Grey Knotts, before dropping back down to Drum House and back along the tramline to the Slate Mine.
