Hazards and warnings

fly fishing as they have there back to you and you dont make much noise

Detailed description

This day to us was to be a long day around the 30 kilo meters as to see that we were able to make good head way, as time went on the bridge idea of a drink at each of the bridges we would not be able to get far unless it was pee wee stuff, old speckled hen.

The weather for us was to be the best day which is why we wanted to make headway and misty had us up at the crack of dawn so on the water about 9am in to Boat of Gartan  and the road bridge is not that nice to see flat concrete bridge much nicer to see later.

We came on to a flat section which felt like a canal and the road not to far away with the railway line in sight you could hear the train from miles away nice to see steam on the line we had a break by the old crossing bridge only the stone work left, amazing engineering, and it is still there.

we moved on to the moving water again nice to see it was a long and the wind was blowing the wrong way maybe we should have done the canal "no please".

Narrative

when we were trying to find camp for the night Rich had been told of this wonderful Island just big enough for a few tents and the heavens had opened so we were trying to find some where soon.

On the map that had it was quite close but he felt like stopping regardless, I made him push on another mile and we found a set of islands, we made camp and to our surprise this was some what better it was much bigger and there was plenty of dry wood about only a small fire to dry of and cook the food.

We were soon of to bed some what tiered after the long day by now even misty was ready to hit the sack. ready for the next long day.

It was not long before our heads had hit the pillow and the heavens opened and it possible rained some hours maybe the river level will be up in the morning we could do with an extra foot or so.
