Introduction
A short walk taking in Peasholm park and the north bay seafront to the harbour. You can either walk back, or do as we did and ride the open topped buses which ply the road.
Conditions
Easy walking suitable for families
Narrative
We walked down into Peasholm park, which has a oriental theme, and walked to the island and up the hill to the zen garden and pagoda.
We then walked along the seafront and around the headland, and after eating icecream, took the open topped bus back to the entrance to Peasholm park.
In summary, a nice, easy walk with some lovely views and just enough seaside attractions to keep young children interested. Peasholm park is much improved since some money was spent to regenerate what was once rather rundown.
