A nice walk following the old railway around Rosedale on permissive tracks and quiet roads
Follow the obvious track. At the top of Rosedale the track becomes very boggy, but the rest is easy going.
The railway is a permissive bridleway, and suitable for cycling. On a bike the majority of the route is pleasant and easily ridden roads, and cinder track, although the section at the head of the valley is badly eroded and has a few technically difficult sections.
