Introduction
A nice walk with great views from Caulkeys bank, which is particularly nice at sunset
Conditions
Muddy paths by the river, the rest is reasonably dry.
Detailed description
Follow the riverside path (take the road if it looks muddy) to West Ness, and then pick up the track which follows the crest of Caukley Bank.
Enjoy the views in all directions from the ridge, before descending to Stonegrave, and take a footpath next to the road, before crossing the road to Scarlet Wood. Then follow a riverside path back to Nunnington.
