Introduction
A nice family friendly walk around a reservoir on the edge of the Peak District
Conditions
Well made gravel paths, with some muddy sections in places
Detailed description
Follow the well maintained path around the lake, and then over the bridge, before climbing along the edge of the forest and up on to bare moorlands. Then, descent to the edge of the woods, past a ruined farm. Afer the bridge, follow the slightly muddy lakeside path, (you can go via the small village of Midhope) around the lake, before reaching a road, where you turn left, and return to the start via the dam.
