Introduction
This loop takes in a view of the A3 tunnel construction before crossing the A3 on a circuit around the Devils Punchbowl. With the exception of two short sections the route follows signed footpaths and bridleways.
When the heather is high in the summer, you may wish to leave the route at Waypoint 2 and continue up the bridleway. The same applies at Waypoint 3.
Conditions
Well signposted footpaths through woods and across heathland. 1st mile is paved.

Crossing the A3
A climb of 100m over a distance of 1.5Km on the final leg.
