A walk to Harrion Stickle Tarn.
This is a very popular walk. Go in summer and you will probably have to join a procession of people. Go on a nice clear winters day and it is much more rewarding. The path up Stickle Ghyll to Stickle Tarn is well trodden but quite punishing on the legs. The sight of Pavey Arc towering over the tarn is worth the lactic acid build up. From here there is a path which goes up between Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark. The path looks worse than it is and it is not long before you can take in some fantastic views from Harrison Stickle. From here you can go on to take in Pike O Stickle as well-but I had to finish early and so I had to head straight down Dungeon Ghyll.
