Introduction
Thought i'd go out for a blast on my new toy. The trip started with a slight chavving outside the back of my house with some pond life thinking he could touch my bike.
Conditions
Weather was fine but cold enough to make me a) appreciate my heated bar grips and b) realise i need to invest in some warmer gloves.
Hazards and warnings
Once you get off the main roads into the country, the main hazard is corners that you can only tell the full extent of when you've committed yourself and you realise braking is a luxury you should have relished 20 seconds ago. Also farm vehicles have a habit of spreading muck all over the place - not good for biking.
