Summary
A 4.5 mile circular Walk from Crossley Side Farm across danby moor through Ainthorpe, across fields, past Danby Moors Centre and back to Crossley Side Farm via Duck Bridge And Danby Castle.
Detailed description
Walk up the road & after 0.25 mile at the Corner take the bridleway on the right up the moor posted Bridleway to Ainthorpe. This is a clear track that will take you to the top of Danby High Moor, from here you have an excellent view of this part of the North York Moors & looking back see the full view of Little Fryup Dale.
Continue straight ahead as the bridleway gradualy slopes across and down the moor as you see a great view of Danby.
When you reach the road at Danby Tennis Courts turn Left down the road to Ainthorpe. Continue down the road for 0.5 mile and you will come to the Fox & Hounds Pub on the right.
Continue down the road a further 100 yard then then turn right between the house gardens on the footpath marked
