Introduction
A short route taking in some of Rowberrow plantation, a blast down Beacon Batch and wonderful views from the Fort across the Wrington Vale.

Detailed description
This is a good short introduction to riding and walking in the Mendips. Avoid riding on the Fort as this is one of the unspoilt areas of the Mendip with grassed paths.
If you only want to ride, take a detour around the northern flank of the Fort through fields with great windy single track - it joins the Fort footpath just above the A38.
