A 1987 attempt to ride all the Welsh 3000ers back before access restrictions made this impossible. Although we failed to do them all, we still managed Carnedd Llewelyn, Trfan and Snowdon.
A long time ago, a group of us decided to ride the Welsh 3000 on primative mountain bikes. This was the first day of the trip featuring a a big bike push over Carnedd Llewelyn.
An ascent of Tryfan by the relatively easy Heather Terrace path on the east side of Tryfan, and a descent to Idwal Cottage
Snowdon via Miners Track and Llanberis Path
A road ride on the A5, followed by the classic route over Snowdon via the Miners and Llanberis path, and then back to Bangor, done a long time ago on a mountain bike, when this was still allowed.
