Introduction
A long climb that gets harder towards the top and then a rewarding long descent back to the start.
Hazards and warnings
Several burns to ford which may need to be waded if it has been raining. There is sometimes stalking in progress so check with the gamekeeper at the cream house at the start point. They can usually suggest an alternative route.
